I'm going on vacation and I want you to come with me!
Ok, I must admit, there’s a little more to it than that.
Let me try again. I’d like you to join me and a small group, some faces you know, some you don’t yet, for the first of these trips I’m putting together. Not a retreat. Not a conference. Something in between and all my own.
First stop: Flagstaff!
See, here’s the thing. I love to travel. But not just any kind of travel. I like to really get to know a place, get in with the artists and the small businesses, get into what makes it unique and cool and a little weird.
And I love planning events, but only the kind where you walk in solo and walk out with people. That’s the whole test for me, every time.
So I married those two things and built this. We’ll make stuff with our hands, meet the people who actually make Flagstaff what it is, and probably trade numbers with someone we just met three days in.
Sound like your type of vacation? Keep reading!
Here's the Deal...
I’m planning all the things. All you have to do is show up.
We’ll make stuff with our hands, eat well, wander into a few local shops, eat s’mores under the stars, and probably (nay, DEFintely) make some friends we didn’t expect to make. As each piece of the schedule locks in, it goes up here and straight to your inbox. Nothing for you to worry about, just show up.
HEY, GIRL!
Arrive, meet, drink, be merry, right at the hotel. Small plates, drink tickets, a game or two to kick things off.
Fun in Flagstaff
Crafting, shopping, brewery hopping. Something with a drag queen. Lots of starry nights. Maybe some _____. Definitely some shenanigans. Other surprises because… they’re fun.
Day trip to Sedona (additional fee)
Before the Sedona crew heads out, the rest of us share one last breakfast together, big hugs, phone numbers exchanged, already planning who’s visiting who next.
For everyone staying on, it’s a 45ish minute trek to Sedona to wander Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, take a trolley tour, maybe a wine tasting. Round trip transportation’s included. Pricing coming soon.
GIRL, BYE!
Can’t stay forever. One last breakfast with our Sedona crew before packing up, undoubtedly crying about how much we’ll miss each other. And heading home.
Where We're Staying
High Country Motor Lodge – 1000 Route 66 – Flagstaff, AZ
Y’all. This hotel has serious “quirky small-town motel empire” energy, IYKYK. And you better believe that’s why I picked it.
Well, that and the great pool, vibey bar and game room, delicious food, and SUPER comfy bed. It really feels like part of the Flagstaff experience, not just a place to crash.
I locked in a rate for our group at $119/night**. Want more time in Flagstaff? This rate’s good for three extra nights, before or after.
**This rate does not include tax, though. Bummer.
Travel Information
Getting to Flagstaff:
You’ve got two options:
- Fly directly into Flagstaff (FLG) and take a short lyft/uber ride to High Country Motor Lodge
- Fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and take a 2-hour shuttle to Flagstaff*
*I know this one sounds a lot less fun but I have secured a group rate for a shuttle so if enough of you are taking this option, we can have a private shuttle all to ourselves. More details in the add-ons section below.

FAQs
Anyone! Although, attendees must be 21+ because adult stuff, humor, dranks, etc.
Girl, please. That’s not what this is about. We’ll make stuff, sure. But no experience is necessary for any of it. All creative activities will be beginner friendly.
Well, I’m still working on all of those details but I’m in talks with a pottery studio, a brewery, a meadery, the creative council and more. Maybe some pool time if its’s warm enough. If not, we’ll keep our clothes on and do something else. Either way, leave the planning to me. You just show up.
